LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Registration for the 2022 Subaru CASA Cycling Challenge is open now. Registration is limited to the first 50 solo riders and 50 teams for the 24-hour challenge.

Starting 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 through 10 a.m. Sunday Aug. 7, participants will cycle on the Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. 2-mile test track in Lafayette. Electronic laps will be counted and timing services will be provided.

“The 2-mile test track provides a safe environment, especially for night-time riding, with no motorized traffic or other hazards associated with rides on public roads,” a release said. “The track is part of an area designated by the National Wildlife Federation as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat, which will provide a unique environment for the epic bike ride.”

The cycling challenge benefits the CASAs for Kids Fund. This fund supports the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program which works to enrich the lives of abused and neglected children in Tippecanoe County, according to a release.
