A football academy whose teams have previously had fixtures against renowned sides like Aston Villa is holding trials for its new Under 8s team.
Jamie Cassidy Soccer Schools, based in Bicester, is holding a football trial for Under 8s on Friday, July 8 at St Edburg’s Primary School, Bicester, from 5.45pm until 7.00pm.
Mr Cassidy, who runs the academy, has already established a successful U9s and U10s team over the past two years, enjoying fixtures against many teams including Aston Villa, MK Dons and Swindon Town.
The team also took a trip to the home of the FA, St Georges Park, to take part in a street football tournament.

Both of Mr Cassidy’s current academy teams played a tournament at Villa Park earlier this summer, with the U9s winning their tournament and the U10s finishing as runners-up.
Now he wants to offer up these kinds of opportunities to younger kids in the area.
Mr Cassidy said: “I’m excited to expand our teams to allow more local children the opportunity to develop their football skills.
“The children love the extra football time and especially the opportunity to play against professional footballing teams.
“It might help some kick-start their football journey as well as make some new friends and create some memorable experiences.
“I look forward to welcoming players to the trial this Friday.”
