Chelsea vs Villarreal took place at Windsor Park, Thursday (12/8/2021) early morning WIB. Chelsea came with the status of champions of the Champions League and Villarreal were champions of the Europa League.
The Blues threatened through Timo Werner’s shot in the fourth minute, which Sergio Asenjo could still deny.
Thomas Tuchel’s team played very aggressively at the beginning of the match. The second threat came from N’Golo Kante in the ninth minute, but his shot from outside the penalty box was still slightly wide of the Villarreal goal.

There were no additional goals until normal time was over. The duel must continue to an additional 2×15 minutes.
